Jason Kumnick

Jason Kumnick currently serves as the Division Director of Strategy and Optimization at Central Wire Industries, a position held since September 2022. Previously, Jason held various leadership roles at Loos & Co., Inc., including General Manager and Director of Manufacturing, and served as Operations Manager at PTG Reed. A significant tenure at Deringer-Ney Inc. included positions as Materials Production and Process Metallurgy Manager and Senior Research Metallurgist. Jason began a research-oriented career at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where participation as a Research Assistant involved guiding students and collaborating with industry on projects. Jason also holds a PhD candidacy from Rensselaer with a focus on M-series tool steel and possesses a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from Roger Williams University. Jason's early career included a role as Project Engineer at Pratt & Whitney.
