Weydeveld started her career at the Smithsonian Institution and went on to hold several senior positions in marketing and communications. She launched the Marshall Plan, a marketing firm representing numerous clients including UNESCO Creative Cities, New Mexico Law Center, Museum of Indian Arts & Culture, Hilton’s Buffalo Thunder, Ghost Ranch Education & Retreat Center, Santa Fe Community College, and New Mexico Department of Cultural Affairs.
Throughout her time in Wyoming, she has led economic development projects as Executive Director of the Dubois Chamber of Commerce and produced successful marketing initiatives for Teton Gravity Research and the National Museum of Wildlife Art.
She has lived in Wyoming for a decade with her husband Tim Weydeveld who was raised in Cheyenne. They reside in Dubois where Tim works as a builder and has helped run his family’s Ram’s Horn Guest Ranch throughout his life. Jennifer is an active member of the St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Dubois and serves on the Vestry. She is the Vice President of the Dubois Chamber of Commerce Board.
Marshall Weydeveld earned a bachelor’s degree from Boston University and her master’s degree from Georgetown University.
