Andrew Beal

Andrew Beal is a seasoned financial professional and leader with extensive experience in investment management and governance. Currently serving as a Trustee and Chair of the Social Investment Committee at Trust for London since December 2023, Andrew also holds the position of Chair of the Board of Trustees at Central YMCA since 2020. Previous roles include Managing Director of Investor Engagement at Big Society Capital from September 2021 to November 2023, Managing Director for Asia and Emerging Markets at DWS Group from 2013 to 2018, and Director of Lead Portfolio Manager for Asia-Pacific Equities at Henderson Global Investors from 2005 to 2013. Earlier in Andrew's career, significant positions included Partner and Lead Portfolio Manager at Nicholas Applegate and Director of Portfolio Manager for Emerging Market Equities at Schroders. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Executive Coaching from Hult Ashridge, a Senior Practitioner certification from the European Mentoring and Coaching Council, and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Bath.
