Chris Rosenblum

Chris Rosenblum has extensive experience in communications and journalism, currently serving as the Director of Communications for the State College Area School District since January 2015. In addition, Chris has held multiple roles at the Centre Daily Times since March 1996, including Assignment Editor and Senior Reporter, where award-winning stories have been crafted and reportorial skills have been sharpened through coaching and editorial oversight. Chris also freelances for GrayRose Communications, focusing primarily on profile writing, and has taught journalism as an Adjunct Faculty member at Penn State University from September 2005 to May 2012. Prior experience includes news reporting at the Tyrone Daily Herald, sports editing at The Charlottesville Observer, and teaching English in Japan. Chris holds a Bachelor's Degree in East Asian History from Brown University and has participated in the Foster-Foreman Conference of Distinguished Writers at Penn State University.
