Dionne Sinclair has extensive work experience in the healthcare sector. Dionne is currently serving as the Vice President, Clinical Care and Chief Nurse Executive at CAMH. Dionne also holds the positions of Adjunct Professor at Lawrence S. Bloomberg Faculty of Nursing and University of Toronto.

Dionne then pursued a Graduate Diploma in Occupational Health/Environmental Medicine at McMaster University from 1998 to 1999. Dionne went on to complete a Master of Science degree in Nursing at Glendon Campus of York University from 2006 to 2008. In 2009 to 2010, they obtained a Master's Certificate in Healthcare Management from Carleton University. Lastly, Dionne pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Nursing Administration at the University of Alberta from 2016 to 2021.

Throughout their career, Dionne also obtained various certifications from institutions such as LinkedIn and Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology. Dionne obtained certifications in Confronting Bias: Thriving Across Our Differences, Unconscious Bias, Cultivating Cultural Competence and Inclusion, Driving Change and Anti-Racism, IDI Qualified Administrator, and Certified Healthcare Executive (CHE), among others. Additionally, Dionne holds a Registered Nurse designation from the College of Nurses of Ontario, obtained in 1988.
