Raymond Borja has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Raymond started their career as a SPEP Student at Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital in 2014, where they enhanced the medication therapy experience of pediatric clients. Raymond then worked as a Pharmacy Intern at Shoppers Drug Mart, providing complete pharmaceutical care to patients and resolving drug therapy problems.

Raymond later became a Staff Pharmacist at Shoppers Drug Mart, working as a relief pharmacist across various locations and serving as a full-time staff pharmacist at a high-volume store. Raymond also gained experience as a Clinical Pharmacist at Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital, where they provided clinical pharmacy services.

In 2016, Raymond joined Toronto Grace Health Centre as a Clinical Pharmacist and Manager of Pharmacy Services. In this role, they were accountable for all inpatient and outpatient pharmacy services and led the expansion of clinical pharmacy services. Raymond also co-chaired various committees and collaborated with clinicians to standardize services.

Raymond then moved on to William Osler Health System in 2021, where they served as the Pharmacy Operations Manager. Raymond was responsible for a safe and efficient drug distribution system and worked on upgrades to sterile areas to enhance patient safety and streamline operations.

In 2023, Raymond will begin a new role as the Director of Pharmacy Services at CAMH.

Raymond Borja completed their education at the University of Toronto. Raymond earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Pharmacy from 2010 to 2014. Raymond later pursued a Master of Health Sciences (MHSc) degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from 2019 to 2021. Additionally, Raymond Borja obtained various certifications, including the Board Certified Geriatric Pharmacist from the BPS - Board of Pharmacy Specialties in December 2017, and the Standard First Aid, CPR, and AED from the Canadian Red Cross in April 2022.
