Swelen Andari

Swelen Andari is an experienced professional in the fields of climate resilience and youth mental health, currently serving as Senior Manager at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) since September 2015. In this role, Swelen leads the development and implementation of initiatives aimed at enhancing youth capacity to address the psychosocial impacts of climate change through Youth Wellness Hubs Ontario. Previous positions include managing the implementation of these hubs, coordinating stakeholder networks for system improvement, and promoting health equity across Ontario's mental health services. Swelen's commitment to community engagement is underscored by involvement with organizations like Common Horizon and Climate Justice Toronto. With a Master of Arts in Creative Arts Therapies and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Cultural Studies, Swelen also possesses a rich background in creative arts therapy, having worked with diverse populations in various therapeutic settings.
