CAV has a vision of increased public participation, expanded civil society space, stronger community capacities and resilience combined with good governance and human rights that leads to transformative change and enhanced mitigation capacities for the poor and marginalized individuals and groups. A key role for CAVAFRICA and our partners is to facilitate engagement, between government institutions, civil-society, private sector and citizens, where they are lacking by brokering communication ‘safe zones’. CAVAFRICA act as a facilitator, capacity builder and catalyst for active citizenship across Africa by giving the people tools of public participation through training, education and capacity buidling programs We also organize International Exchange Program in USA, South Africa, Netherlands, Rwanda and Kenya to enhance capacities and expose volunteers to new cultures, learn and adopt best practices.
