Manuel Alvarez

Manuel Alvarez is an Associate Director at CCRM, with experience dating back to April 2012. In this role, Manuel has served as a research technician and lab manager, where responsibilities included maintaining cell cultures, running analytical tests for cell quality, and managing lab supplies and inventory systems. Prior to CCRM, Manuel worked as a Research Technician at the University of Toronto from March 2006 to March 2012, where maintenance of human embryonic stem cell cultures and support for scientists were key duties. Manuel holds a Master’s degree in Pathology/Experimental Pathology from Western University and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Windsor.
