Daniel Clarke is a Director at the Centre for Disaster Protection. Prior to this role, Daniel worked as an Actuary at the Government Actuary's Department and as a Senior Financial Sector Specialist at The World Bank. He also has experience as a Departmental Lecturer in Actuarial Science at the University of Oxford and as an Associate at Hewitt Associates. Daniel holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Oxford, an M.Phil. in Economics from the same university, and is a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries in Actuarial Science. He also completed his BA Hons in Mathematics with Computer Science at the University of Cambridge.
