Mia Forssell

Mia Forssell is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in education, environmental management, and community engagement. Currently serving as a Board Member on both the Technical Section for the Executive Committee and the Board of Environment and Construction for Pargas stad, Mia also contributes as an Environmental Specialist at ELY-keskus. Previous roles include a Kindergarten Teacher, High School Teacher, and various positions within city councils and boards that focus on education and community issues. Mia’s entrepreneurial spirit is demonstrated through a long-standing private business, and earlier roles included special needs assistance and substituted teaching. Academically, Mia holds a Master of Science in Biology from the University of Turku, alongside other degrees in Bioveterinary Science and Cell Biology. Passionate about bridging gaps in bilingual education while promoting environmental sustainability, Mia’s diverse skill set and dedication empower meaningful contributions to the community.
