Radhika Khurana

Radhika Khurana is a seasoned education professional with extensive experience in program management, curriculum design, and teaching. Currently serving as a Program Manager at the Centre for Effective Governance of Indian States (CEGIS) since April 2023, Radhika previously held the role of Manager, Curriculum Design and Management at Teach For India from June 2017 to April 2023. In that capacity, Radhika led the design and implementation of two impactful curriculums focused on leadership and constitutional values for K-8 students. Additional responsibilities included coaching and mentoring a team of 30 individuals, facilitating teacher training modules, and contributing to the Covid learning task force. Radhika's earlier experience includes serving as a Content Creator for the Maharashtra State Education Department and assisting in various educational initiatives as a fellow with Teach For India. Radhika holds a Master of Arts in English Language and Literature from Indira Gandhi National Open University and a Bachelor of Arts from Delhi University.

The Centre for Effective Governance of Indian States (CEGIS) aims to improve lives by helping state governments deliver better development outcomes. Our work is grounded in research, evidence and a practical orientation towards implementable ideas. We help state governments with the tools they need to design effective governance and expenditure reforms, while also offering strategic implementation support. Our focus is strengthening governance by improving four core functions of the government - outcome measurement, personnel management, strategic financial management and leveraging markets for improved public service delivery. Currently, we operate across the Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR), Delhi, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Telangana.
