Rashmi Verma

Rashmi Verma has a diverse work experience in the fundraising and nonprofit sector. Rashmi began their career as a District Manager at Cipla in 2000 and held this position until 2004. In 2006, they joined Mahasemam Trust as a Manager of Fundraising and Communication. Rashmi worked there for two years before moving on to serve as an Assistant Director of Resource Mobilization at Amity University from 2008 to 2009. In 2010, Rashmi volunteered as a Fundraiser at OXFAM India for a few months. Rashmi then became the Director of Fundraising at HOPE worldwide - India for the first half of 2011. Following this position, they worked as a Fundraising Consultant at A V Fundraising Consultants from 2011 to 2013. Currently, Rashmi holds the role of Chief Operating Officer at the Centre for Fundraising, where they have been since 2013. Rashmi'sexpertise lies in strategic fundraising, product development, and creating fundraising strategies and plans for INGOs and NGOs.

Rashmi Verma has a comprehensive education history spanning multiple institutions and fields of study. In 1991, they attended the Indian School of Learning, where they completed their I.Sc degree in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Rashmi further pursued their studies at SSLNT Mahila Maha Vidyalaya from 1993 to 1996, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Botany with honors. Later, from 1997 to 1999, they enrolled at TIME - The Management School in Tirupati, where they obtained a PGDBA degree in Marketing and HR.

Rashmi Verma continued to enhance their knowledge and skills through further academic pursuits. In 2006, they attended Madurai Kamaraj University and completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Microfinance, emphasizing Microfinance Management. Additionally, during the same period, they also earned a PG Diploma in Fundraising Management from the same institution, further diversifying their expertise.
