Sara Sdelci began their work experience as a Research Fellow at Università degli Studi di Firenze in 2007. Sara then joined IRB Barcelona as a PHD student from October 2009 to December 2012. In 2013, they became a Postdoctoral Fellow at CeMM. Currently, since January 2019, they are working as a Principal Investigator at Centre for Genomic Regulation (CRG), focusing on the epigenetic face of cancer metabolism.
Sara Sdelci holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Biomedical Sciences from Universitat de Barcelona, which they earned from 2009 to 2012. Sara also has a Master's degree in Bioethics/Medical Ethics from Universitat Ramon Llull, completed between 2015 and 2017. Additionally, Sara obtained a Master's degree in medical biotechnology from Università degli Studi di Firenze from 2005 to 2007. Sara holds a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology from the same university, though the years of completion are unspecified.
