Julia van de Velde

Julia van de Velde is a skilled research assistant at the Centre for Human Drug Research since April 2019, with a strong foundation in biomedicine from Leiden University, where Julia earned a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences between 2017 and 2021. Julia's leadership capabilities are demonstrated through prior roles at SSR-Leiden, including chairperson of the 2021 Lustrum Committee, orchestrating significant events, and chairperson of the Yearbook Committee in 2019, ensuring the successful publication of the student association's yearbook. Additional experience includes financial oversight as treasurer for the Parents' Day Committee in 2018, along with various roles in customer service and food preparation prior to entering the research field.
