Maria Joanna Juachon is a skilled statistician with extensive experience in statistical analysis and data integration across various industries. Currently at the Centre for Human Drug Research since May 2021, Maria collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to design studies, provide statistical input, and prepare complex analyses while ensuring the quality of statistical outputs. Previously, Maria served as a researcher at UHasselt, developing data integration methods through machine learning, and as a risk modeler at Banco de Oro, where responsibilities included developing financial models and managing credit risk projects. Early career experience as an analytics scientist at Teradata involved leveraging advanced analytics techniques for social media sentiment analysis. Maria holds a Master’s degree in Statistics from Hasselt University and a Bachelor's Degree in Statistics from the University of the Philippines.
