Tarig Ali

GIS & Remote Sensing Analyst at Centre for Information Resilience

Tarig Ali is currently working as a GIS & Remote Sensing Analyst at the Centre for Information Resilience and also holds the title of Chevening Scholar 2023-2024 at Chevening Awards, awarded by the British Government. Prior to their current roles, Tarig worked as a Remote Sensing Specialist at BLUE BELL, a Teaching Assistant at the University of Khartoum, and a Part-Time Advisor for the Sudan Protest Monitor at Gisa Group. Tarig has also served as the Secretary General at ASMR, where Tarig played a key role in stakeholder engagement and collaborations. With a background in Surveying Engineering, Tarig has a Bachelor's degree from the University of Khartoum and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Geographical Information Science at the University of Edinburgh.
