The Legal and Governance Team at the Centre for International Sustainable Development Law plays a pivotal role in advancing the understanding, development, and implementation of international sustainable development law through research, capacity-building, and policy guidance. This team focuses on critical areas such as trade, human rights, natural resources, biodiversity, and climate law, providing expert legal analysis, facilitating cross-sector collaboration, and supporting the creation and reform of laws both internationally and within developing countries. They also contribute to the Centre’s publications and organize academic and professional events to disseminate their findings and promote sustainable legal practices globally.
