Alison Laird is an accomplished leader with extensive experience in innovation and operational management across various sectors, particularly in the legal industry. Currently serving as Director at Laird Innovations Pty Ltd since February 2017, Alison focuses on unlocking business innovation to enhance efficiency and profitability. As an Advisory Board Member at the Centre for Legal Innovation, Alison contributes to the development of courses and events aimed at supporting legal professionals through industry transformation. Additional roles include Chief Operating Officer at Beasley Intercultural, where Alison oversees operations and strategic growth in culturally diverse settings, and a Teaching Fellow (Innovation) at The College of Law Australia. Previous positions include Senior Director and Senior Consultant at Morae, Head of Innovation and Project Delivery at Pinsent Masons, and various roles at DLA Piper, emphasizing legal service delivery and project management. The Centre for Legal Innovation, an innovation-focused think tank at the College of Law. The Centre provides thought leadership, practical research and opportunities for collaboration to support legal professionals as they navigate the disruption and new technologies transforming the industry.
