Anne Tiernan

Anne Tiernan is an accomplished academic and leader in the field of political leadership and policy analysis, currently serving as the Head of Research and Professor of Political Leadership at the McKinnon Institute for Political Leadership and a part-time member of the Commonwealth Grants Commission. With a long tenure at Griffith University since 2008, where responsibilities include leading professional postgraduate programs and holding various titles such as Director of the Policy Innovation Hub, Anne's extensive experience encompasses roles in research committees, leadership positions in education, and significant board memberships, including the Crime and Corruption Commission (Queensland) and the Museum of Australian Democracy. Anne holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Political Science and Government from Griffith University and has a strong educational foundation in commerce and arts, complemented by a Diploma of Teaching in Social Sciences.
