Currently serving as Independent Chair at AustralianSuper and Board Member at the Centre for Policy Development, Don Russell previously held significant roles including Chief Executive of the Department of the Premier and Cabinet (South Australia) and Chief Executive of the Department of State Development. Extensive expertise in energy policy, innovation, and economic management was demonstrated during roles at the Department of Industry and CSIRO. Don Russell's educational credentials include a PhD and MSc in Economics from The London School of Economics, along with a Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
