Maha Laksmee Ramamoorthy Viswanathan is an Employment Specialist at the Centre for Skills Development since September 2022, focusing on clients with disabilities, youth, newcomers, and social assistance recipients. Responsibilities include utilizing the Common Assessment Tool, conducting interviews through Motivational Interviewing, coaching clients on job-related topics, and facilitating workshops on career development. Previously, Maha served as a Resource & Information Specialist, providing support with job searches and community resources, and volunteered as an Immigrant Resource Worker and Client Support Worker, aiding immigrant families and new mothers. Prior to these roles, Maha held positions at Cognizant as a Product Specialist and Programmer Analyst. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Engineering from SRM University and a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management with a focus on Human Resources from Symbiosis Centre for Distance Learning.
