Phuoc Do currently serves as a Teaching Assistant for CICS 210 - Data Structures at Manning College of Information and Computer Sciences, UMass Amherst, and as a Research Assistant at WSSLab. Previously, Phuoc held the position of Undergraduate Course Assistant for CS389 - Introduction to Machine Learning at the same institution. A Deep Learning Research Intern at The Feinstein Institutes, Phuoc pre-processed 3D FDG-PET images from Alzheimer’s Disease patients and developed a CNN model that improved accuracy by 17% over traditional machine learning methods. Phuoc is pursuing a Master of Science in Computer Science at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, having completed a Bachelor’s degree in the same field.
