Alain Rivard

Alain Rivard is an accomplished medical professional with extensive experience in cardiology and academic leadership. Currently serving as the Directeur Adjoint Scientifique-Développement Académique at the Centre de recherche du CHUM (CRCHUM) since August 2018, Alain Rivard also holds the position of Interventional Cardiologist at the CHUM - Centre hospitalier de l'Université de Montréal and is a Professor of Medicine at the Université de Montréal, both roles begun in September 1998. Alain Rivard completed postdoctoral studies in Cardiovascular Research at Tufts University School of Medicine from 1996 to 1998, following a Doctor of Medicine degree obtained from Université de Montréal as part of an Interventional Cardiology Residency Program from 1985 to 1996.
