Mariam Choughari

Mariam CHOUGHARI is currently a Teaching Assistant at Université de Montreal since September 2024 and pursuing a PhD in Neuroscience at the Centre de recherche du CHUM (CRCHUM) since January 2023. Mariam has a strong background in human genetics, gene therapy, and neurodegenerative diseases, having completed internships at the Institut Imagine INSERM UMR1163 and the Imagine Institute. Additionally, Mariam served as a Scientific Outreach Educator at Mission Cerveau in late 2023 and underwent entrepreneurial training at Université Paris Sciences et Lettres in 2021. Education includes a Doctorate in Neurobiology and Neuroscience from Université de Montréal, a Master of Science in Life Sciences from PSL Research University, and a Licence in Life and Earth Sciences from Lebanese University.
