Isabel de la Fuente Garcia

Isabel de la Fuente Garcia serves as the Cheffe de service de pédiatrie générale et spécialisée at the Centre Hospitalier de Luxembourg since July 2014 and also holds the position of Pédiatre Infectiologue at the University of Luxembourg since January 2022. Additionally, Isabel is involved with the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC) as a member of the Advisory Forum and serves as the Présidente du Conseil Supérieur Maladies Infectieuses at the Ministère de la Santé Luxembourg starting January 2024. Previous experience includes a fellowship in paediatric infectious diseases at CHU Sainte-Justine and a role as médecin interne et cheffe de clinique at HUG - Hôpitaux Universitaires de Genève. Isabel's educational background includes a Docteur en Médecine from Université catholique de Louvain, specialized qualifications in paediatric infectious diseases, and training in digital education and simulation in healthcare from Université Grenoble Alpes.
