Jean-Yves Blay

Jean-Yves Blay is an accomplished medical professional with extensive experience in oncology and research. Currently serving as the EURACAN ERN since May 2017, Jean-Yves also holds the position of Network Director at LYRICAN and has been the Network Head at LYRIC since June 2011. As President of the European Organisation for Research and Treatment of Cancer and the French Sarcoma Group, Jean-Yves leads initiatives in cancer research and treatment. Additional roles include Head of Netsarc, Présidente at EORTC, and Chef du département de Médecine at Centre Leon Berard. Jean-Yves has been a professor of oncology at Université Claude Bernard Lyon since 1999. Academic credentials include an MD, a PhD, a Master in Statistics, and board certification in Medical Oncology, backed by a solid educational foundation in Biomedical Science.
