Nicolas Penel

Nicolas Penel is an accomplished medical oncologist with extensive experience in clinical research and education. Currently serving as the Coordinateur CLIP² at Alliance Cancer since January 2019, Nicolas also holds the position of Professor of Medicine (Medical Oncology) at the University of Lille 2, overseeing oncology training for multiple universities. As the Director of Clinical Research and Innovation at Centre Oscar Lambret since June 2016, Nicolas manages a clinical research team and oversees clinical trial sponsorship. Past roles include Head of the General Oncology Department and Vice-Head at Centre Oscar Lambret, where Nicolas has managed medical teams and patient care. With a strong academic background, including a Master's in Cellular Biology and a Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Clinical Research Methodology, Nicolas has also received training in biostatistics and decision-making sciences from esteemed institutions such as EORTC Headquarters and Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
