Julie Travaly-Gerace

Julie Travaly-Gerace has extensive experience in the handbag design industry. Julie began their career in 1996 as a Design Director at Excel Handbags Co Inc, where they worked until 1999. After that, they joined Accessory Exchange as a Creative Director-Brands for a period of 18 years. In 2017, Julie joined Global Brands Group as a Vice President of Handbag Design until 2018. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President of Handbag Design at Centric Brands, starting from November 2018.

Julie Travaly-Gerace earned a Bachelor's Degree in BFA Illustration and Concepts Fashion from Parsons School of Design - The New School in 1990. In 1991, they attended the Fashion Institute of Technology, focusing on Accessories, Footwear, and Leather Technologies. Prior to that, from 1985 to 1987, Julie studied Communication and Media Studies at Fordham University.
