Kirstin Hunter

Kirstin Hunter is a seasoned professional in technical design with over 15 years of experience, currently serving as the Director of Technical Design at Centric Brands since July 2019. Additionally, Kirstin has been working as a Freelance Technical Designer specializing in knits and sweaters since December 2016. Previous roles include Sweater Technical Designer at Lafayette 148 New York, Director of Technical Design at JED Group, Manager of Sweater Tech at Carlisle LLC, and Senior Technical Designer for sweaters at HELMUT LANG and Donna Karan. Kirstin's expertise encompasses detailed proto requests, layouts, tech packs, and grading, with a notable history of collaboration with design teams to create luxurious sweater collections. Kirstin holds an A.A.S. in Fashion Design from the Fashion Institute of Technology and a B.A. in English from the University of New Hampshire.
