Joe has over 25 years of experience working as a leader in a global IT organization and working with clients in an IT and business consulting organization. While with a major automobile manufacturer, Joe was responsible for web application architecture, messaging & communication, information security, and portal solutions. He managed a team of over 30 technical resources and an annual budget of almost $30M. Joe was also involved in the strategy, planning, and implementation of an IT consolidation strategy for all North American manufacturing business units. This included leading a North American team responsible for web application strategy and consolidation.
Following his work in the auto industry, Joe joined a regional consulting organization focused on delivering communication, collaboration, and productivity solutions to enterprise organizations. His primary role was to understand clients’ business drivers and priorities and envision solutions that address their needs and bring value to the business. This included fiscal planning and management, strategic planning, marketing planning, business development, resource and team development, and delivery management. The client solutions Joe managed and delivered were built were primarily built on Microsoft technology such as SharePoint, Office 365, Yammer, and related 3rd party tools. Joe has more than 12 years of experience designing and delivering solutions on all versions of SharePoint since SharePoint Portal Server 2003.

Joe is a frequent presenter at local and regional events focused on Microsoft technology. He is a Microsoft Certified Sales Specialist and Technical Sales Specialist for Office 365 and SharePoint. Joe’s current focus is helping organizations increase employee engagement and enablement and realize the benefits from this increase. As a former soccer and basketball coach, Joe understands the value of teamwork and builds trusting relationships with his co-workers and clients so they can work together to accomplish more than any single individual would be capable of.
