Aodha O'Connor

Aodha O'Connor has over 20 years of work experience. Aodha started their career as a Training Contract at PwC from 1999 to 2002. Aodha then took a break to travel before joining PwC again as an Audit Manager from 2003 to 2004. In 2005, they joined Meteor as a Financial Reporting Manager, where they were responsible for internal and external financial reporting. Aodha also introduced and maintained controls to comply with Sarbanes-Oxley. In 2006, they moved to eircom as the Head of Financial Accounting and Control, where they managed accounting issues and audit liaison across the group. Aodha then joined TV3 Television Ireland in 2008 as the Financial Controller, responsible for day-to-day finance operations and integration of new business. Aodha later became the CFO of TV3 Television Ireland in 2009 and led successful debt restructuring, debt buy-back, and refinancing for the group. In 2015, they led the successful sale of TV3 Group to Liberty Global from Doughty Hanson. In 2016, they joined Centric Health as the CFO, and later became the Chief Operating Officer. Currently, they are the Managing Director of Centric Health Ireland.

Aodha O'Connor completed their Bachelor's degree in Business/Commerce at University College Dublin from 1995 to 1998. Aodha went on to obtain a Master's degree in Accounting from the same institution, studying there from 1998 to 1999. Continuing their education, Aodha pursued a Professional Qualification in Accounting at Chartered Accountants Ireland between 1999 and 2002. Lastly, in 2011 and 2012, they attended Stanford University for an Executive Education program with a focus on Strategic Leadership for CFO's.
