Sijan Bhandari

Sijan Bhandari is a data scientist currently employed at Centric Software since August 2023. Prior experience includes working as a machine learning engineer at aifora from May 2022 to July 2023 and serving as a master thesis student at IAV GmbH, where significant work on time series data preprocessing and statistical modeling was accomplished. Sijan worked as a research assistant at the University of Kaiserslautern, focusing on fairness-aware machine learning algorithms, and at Deutsches Forschungszentrum für Künstliche Intelligenz (DFKI), contributing to a mobile application prototype. In earlier roles, Sijan held positions as a senior software engineer at Leapfrog Technology, data engineer at OnBoardMe, backend/data engineer at Loop - Intelligent Chat Assistant, and co-founded Phunka Technologies. Academic qualifications include a Master’s degree in Computer Science from RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from the Institute of Engineering - Pulchowk Campus.
