Darren Hicks

Darren Hicks is an experienced finance professional with over 25 years in the industry, currently serving as the Director of Revenue Reporting and Assurance at Centrica, where responsibility includes overseeing revenue reporting and assurance for British Gas's extensive portfolio, encompassing annual revenues of approximately £10 billion and 21 million customers. Hicks has previously held several key roles within British Gas Business, such as Head of Revenue Control and various management positions focused on gross margins and profit improvement. Prior experience includes finance management roles at CIT and GKN plc, with a foundational career starting at Esso Petroleum. Hicks holds a degree in Banking and Finance from Loughborough University and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.
