Hamish Phillips

Hamish Phillips serves as the New Business Director for Net Zero at Centrica since January 2023, bringing extensive expertise in automotive strategy and electric mobility. Previously, Phillips held the position of Head of Automotive Strategy at 10 Downing Street, advising three Prime Ministers on critical issues related to the automotive sector. Prior roles include Head of Commercial at ARRIVAL and Zero Emission Fleets Director at Transport & Environment. Phillips also contributed as a Subject Matter Expert and Advisor on Electric Mobility at Deloitte and held various leadership positions at Tesla, including Head of Enterprise Sales for Southern Europe. An accomplished marketing professional, Phillips also directed marketing and communications for Green Tomato Cars and was involved in business development for Green Tomato Energy. Educational background includes a degree in German and Hispanic Studies from King's College London and time at Winchester College.
