Hussein Hajat

Hussein Hajat is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in customer service and operations management in the energy sector. Currently serving as Director of Region at Centrica since July 2016, Hussein oversees contact centre operations for the Midlands and South West region of British Gas Services and Solutions, managing a team of 311 full-time employees. Prior to this role, Hussein held various positions at British Gas, including Customer Service Manager and Team Manager, where responsibilities included leading teams to deliver exceptional customer service within regulated environments. Hussein's career began with a General Management Graduate Trainee position at Centrica, where a comprehensive two-year programme included placements across smart metering, process improvement, marketing, and business development. An alumnus of the University of Leicester, Hussein holds a Bachelor of Arts in History and Politics.
