Thahmina Rahman

Thahmina Rahman has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Thahmina began their career as a Telephone Interviewer at Access Research in 2015, where they collected data for various organizations and efficiently handled customer complaints. In 2016, they became a Research Assistant at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education of the University of Toronto, where they designed picture books for a research project and assisted with data collection by conducting interviews and transcribing videos. Thahmina continued their research work as a Research Assistant at the University of Toronto in 2017, collaborating with researchers and city employees to assess and improve the cognitive sensitivity skills of Early Childhood Educators. Thahmina joined Kids Help Phone in 2018 as a Student Associate, completing projects and initiatives that included research, drafting documents, and coordinating tasks. In 2019, Thahmina worked as a Central Poll Supervisor at Elections Canada, managing polling stations and ensuring a smooth voting process. Their most recent experience includes roles at Centricity Research, where they served as a Clinical Research Recruiter, Manna Recruitment Lead, Recruitment Team Lead, and currently as a Patient Engagement Supervisor. In this role, Thahmina manages and recruits participants for clinical trials, adheres to industry guidelines, and utilizes various software systems for patient management.

Thahmina Rahman pursued their education at the University of Toronto from 2015 to 2019. During this time, they successfully obtained an Honours Bachelor of Science (HBSc) degree, with a major in Human Health and Disease/Biology and a minor in Psychology. In August 2019, they also obtained a certification known as "Student Excellence in Research & Innovation 2019" from GBC Research.
