Cesar Diez Gil

Cesar Diez Gil has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Cesar started their career as a Post-Doctoral Scientist at the INSTITUT DE CIÈNCIA DE MATERIALS DE BARCELONA (ICMAB-CSIC) from November 2010 to March 2011. Cesar then worked as a Regulatory Affairs Technician at L'Oréal for a brief period from March 2011 to October 2011.

From October 2011 to May 2015, Cesar worked as an R+D Project Manager at R+D Project Management. Following that, they joined PERSÁN as a Competitive Intelligence Manager from May 2015 to July 2016.

Cesar then joined Reig Jofre in July 2016, where they worked as a Technology Transfer Manager for five years. In this role, they led and coordinated technology transfer activities, managed the in-sourcing project for manufacturing JANSSEN's COVID-19 vaccine, and coordinated the implementation of serialization in the RJ SJD manufacturing site, among other responsibilities.

In July 2021, Cesar joined Takeda as a Senior Project Manager. Cesar was responsible for managing manufacturing science projects related to Alofisel (Cell Therapies), coordinating product and process improvement and development activities, and managing the budget of the department.

Currently, Cesar is working at Centrient Pharmaceuticals as the Global Technology and Transfer Lead. In this role, they drive EBITDA growth and improved reliability by introducing new and improved products and processes. Cesar also ensures flawless execution of tech transfer activities, defines global process and cleaning validation/qualification standards, and assesses the impact and feasibility of major changes.

Throughout their career, Cesar has gained expertise in technology transfer, project management, manufacturing sciences, regulatory affairs, and competitive intelligence.

Cesar Diez Gil has a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the Universidad de Zaragoza, which they obtained from 1999 to 2004. Cesar then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Material Science at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona from 2006 to 2010. Finally, Cesar completed a Master's degree in Project Management at the Universitat Ramon Llull from 2013 to 2014.
