Meghan Riesterer has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of sustainability and energy management. Meghan is currently serving as the Chief Sustainability Officer and Senior Vice President ESG & Decarbonization at CenTrio Energy, where they lead the company's sustainability initiatives and goals. Prior to this, Meghan worked as the Assistant Vice President Campus Energy & Sustainability at Oberlin College and Conservatory, where they focused on strategic development and implementation of energy and sustainability initiatives. Meghan also has experience as a Director of Sustainability at The Medical Center Company, where they developed and implemented campus-wide sustainable energy strategies. Additionally, they have held positions at the City of Colorado Springs, Loudoun County Government, and the International Council of Monuments and Sites, where they worked on energy efficiency programs, urban planning, and historic preservation projects. Meghan has a strong background in technical energy engineering expertise and is known for their visionary thinking in sustainable district energy, decarbonization, and sustainable infrastructure solutions. Meghan is a Certified Energy Manager (CEM), Certified Distributed System Markets Specialist (CDSM), and a LEED Accredited Professional (AP).

Meghan Riesterer obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration, Philosophy, and Political Science from Baldwin Wallace University from 1999 to 2003. Meghan later pursued a Master in City Planning degree in Urban Studies and Planning from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, completing their studies from 2004 to 2006.
