Colin Foster

Colin Foster has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Colin started their career as a Wholesale Manager at Solay Wellness DBA SO WELL, where they managed sales, trained employees, and handled contracts and payments. Colin then worked as a Lab Assistant at Northwestern University, focusing on water pollution control bioprocesses.

Colin then joined The Chopping Block as a Retail - Shift Leader, where they monitored sales data and optimized purchasing strategies. Colin also delegated tasks and reconciled registers.

Following that, Colin worked as a Gas Engineering Intern at Peoples Gas, where they coordinated a project to address infrastructure deficiencies in the gas pipeline system. Colin also produced reports used by various departments.

Colin gained experience in sales engineering as a Sales Engineer at ProLeiT. Colin wrote financial proposals for engineering projects, edited and translated documents, and created automation objects and HMI process screens.

At the University of Illinois at Chicago, Colin served as a Research Assistant in two different groups. Colin conducted formulation optimization and testing of drug delivery particles and performed chemical process engineering experiments.

Colin then transitioned to the cannabis industry, starting as an Assistant Extraction Technician and subsequently becoming an Extraction Technician at Revolution Cannabis. Colin managed lab personnel, ensured regulatory compliance, and created standard operating procedures and data sheets.

Currently, Colin is working as a Process Engineer at Centrisys/CNP. Colin'sresponsibilities include conducting on-site tests, installations, and maintenance of centrifuges. Colin also performs lab testing and writes summary reports.

Throughout their career, Colin has demonstrated strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage projects and teams effectively.

Colin Foster holds a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, which they obtained from the University of Illinois Chicago between 2016 and 2019. Prior to that, they attended City Colleges of Chicago-Harry S Truman College from 2014 to 2015, where they focused on science classes. Colin'searlier educational background includes a Bachelor's of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, which they completed between 2001 and 2006. Colin recently obtained a certification as an Enrolled Professional Engineer Intern from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation in May 2021.
