Rosa Ferreira

Rosa Ferreira serves as the Medical Director of Pharmacovigilance and Patient Safety at AbbVie since April 2019, overseeing safety topics across all clinical phases and in postmarketing settings, while also leading global submissions and developing key regulatory reports. Prior to this role, Rosa held the position of Associate Medical Director in the same field at Centro Hospitalar e Universitário de Coimbra (CHUC) since April 2016 and worked as a Gastroenterologist Consultant at Hospital Beatriz Ângelo from March 2013 to March 2016. Rosa's extensive experience as a Gastroenterologist at CHUC from January 2007 to March 2013 included completing a residency in Gastroenterology. Rosa Ferreira earned a Licentiate degree in Medicine from Universidade do Porto between 1999 and 2005.
