Tom Meyer has extensive experience in the banking and finance industry. Tom began their career at Woodfield Chevrolet as a Sales Manager, where they successfully managed a team and achieved high sales numbers. Tom then worked at Heller Financial as an Assistant Vice President before joining Comerica Bank as a Vice President. Following this, Tom held the position of VP District Sales Manager at Wells Fargo, where they funded over $260 million in SBA loans for small businesses. Tom later became Senior Vice President and SBA Division Manager at Bridgeview Bank Group, where they were responsible for providing SBA loans for business acquisitions, real estate, franchise financing, and start-up financing. Tom also served as President of Schaumburg AM Rotary and Messiah Lutheran Church. Tom further expanded their expertise by becoming President of MBBI-Midwest Business Brokers and Intermediaries, where they organized educational meetings and events for professionals in the business brokerage field. Currently, Tom holds the position of Executive Vice President and Director of SBA Lending at Centrust Bank N.A., specializing in SBA loans and commercial real estate financing for small to mid-sized businesses. Additionally, Tom has served as an Adjunct Professor at Olivet Nazarene University, teaching various business courses.
Tom Meyer earned their high school diploma from McHenry High School in 1988. Tom then pursued an Associate of Applied Science degree in Aviation Flight from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, from 1988 to 1991. Following this, Tom attended Olivet Nazarene University from 1996 to 1999 and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Management. Tom then continued their education at Olivet Nazarene University, earning an MBA in Business Administration from 1999 to 2001.
