Adrian Schenk

Adrian Schenk, PharmD, BCPS has a diverse work experience in the field of pharmacy. Adrian started their career in 2012 as a Certified Pharmacy Technician at Safeway, where they worked until 2014. From 2014 to 2016, they served as a Pharmacist-Intern at Safeway while pursuing their degree. In 2014, they also became a Lead Pharmacist-Intern at CHI Health, a position they held until 2018. During this time, they gained valuable experience in pharmacy leadership. In 2018, they joined Nanjing Medical University as a Pharmacist-Intern for a brief period, gaining international exposure. In the same year, they also started working at Denver Health as a PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice Resident, a role they held until 2019. At Denver Health, they gained specialized knowledge and skills in the field. In 2019, Adrian Schenk joined Centura Health, where they worked as a Clinical Pharmacist - Inpatient Float until 2021. Adrian then transitioned to the role of Internal Medicine Pharmacist Lead at Centura Health. Adrian Schenk's work experience showcases their dedication to the field of pharmacy and their continuous growth and development in their career.

Adrian Schenk, PharmD, BCPS, completed their Doctor of Pharmacy degree (PharmD) at Creighton University from 2014 to 2018. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences; Pre-Health at the University of Northern Colorado from 2008 to 2012.

In addition to their formal education, Adrian has obtained several certifications throughout their career. These certifications include being a Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist, obtained from the Board of Pharmacy Specialties in November 2020. Adrian also holds a Stop the Bleed Certificate from the American College of Surgeons (obtained in May 2019) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from the American Heart Association (obtained in December 2018). Adrian's other certifications include Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association (obtained in October 2018), Pharmacist licensure from the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (obtained in July 2018), Delivering Medication Therapy Management Services Certificate from the American Pharmacists Association (obtained in February 2017), Community-Pharmacy Based Point-of Care Testing Certificate from the National Association of Chain Drug Stores (NACDS) (obtained in January 2016), Pharmacy Based Immunization Delivery Certificate from the American Pharmacists Association (obtained in August 2015), Pharmacist [Intern] licensure from the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (obtained in November 2014), Pharmacist [Intern] licensure from the Iowa Board of Pharmacy (obtained in October 2014), Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (obtained in August 2014), Pharmacist [Intern] licensure from the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services (obtained in August 2014), and Certified Pharmacy Technician certification from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) (obtained in November 2012).
