Brad Cowain

Brad Cowain has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Brad began their career in the Royal Australian Navy as an Electronics Technician/Engineer, where they were responsible for job delegation, coordination, and assessment of junior staff.

After leaving the Navy, Brad worked at Tenix as an Electrical and Electronic Systems Engineer, where they installed, repaired, and commissioned electronic and electrical systems on Australian naval vessels.

Brad then joined Aker Kvaerner Subsea as an Offshore Field Systems Engineer, where they were involved in the installation, integration, commissioning, testing, and repair of Subsea Control Systems.

Brad continued their career at Aker Kvaerner as a Workover Control Systems Engineer, providing technical engineering support for operational Workover and Control Systems globally. Brad also developed a SAP-based registry to log equipment operational information for well-completion reports.

At Aker Solutions, Brad held various roles, including Operations Engineer, Service Manager, and Vice President. Brad was responsible for providing technical and engineering support, managing regional operations and service teams, and leading the Subsea Lifecycle Services across the Asia Pacific region.

Brad's notable achievements include winning business contracts, integrating companies, and reducing manufacturing costs. Brad also maintained successful relationships with clients and achieved market-leading EBITDA margins despite industry downturns.

More recently, Brad served as the Managing Director of Enovate Systems Limited before joining Centurion Group as the Vice President of the Asia Pacific Region.

Brad Cowain completed their education history as follows:

- From 2021 to 2022, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Technology at AGSM @ UNSW Business School.

- In the same period, they also completed the Graduate of Company Director Course in Business Governance at the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

- Between 2009 and 2014, they obtained a Post Graduate Diploma of Business and Technology with a specialization in Project Management from UNSW.

- From 1996 to 1998, they earned a Cert IV in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from TAFE NSW.
