Yi Fang-Loukola has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Starting in 1995, they worked as an Assistant Architect at the Shanghai Architectural Design Institute before moving on to work as an Architect at Evata Finland from 1999 to 2002. During their time at Evata Finland, they also pursued a Master's Degree and contributed to various architectural projects. In 2002, they joined CH2M HILL as a Project Architect and later took on roles such as China Architectural Discipline Manager, China Design Manager, and Asia Design Manager. Yi then became a Board Member of IDC China (IDCC) at CH2M Hill IDC from 2008 to 2011. From 2013 to 2017, they worked as a Senior Consultant at F2L. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President of Engineering at Century 3, Inc., which they began in September 2017.
Yi Fang-Loukola earned a B.Sc. degree in Architecture from Shanghai Institute of Urban Construction from 1991 to 1995. Later, from 1998 to 2002, Yi Fang-Loukola pursued an M.Sc. degree in Architecture at Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan.
