David Farcas

David Farcas has extensive experience in both emergency medical services and law enforcement training. Currently serving as a Supervisor for Professional Standards at Duval County Public Schools since January 2021 and as a SFI at General Dynamics Information Technology since October 2022, David also holds a Charge Paramedic position at Century Ambulance Service, Inc. since January 2017. David has a significant background in instruction, having taught high liability courses at Florida State College at Jacksonville and Tallahassee Community College, with a focus on defensive tactics, driving, firearms, and first responder training. Previous roles include serving as a Homicide Detective with Leon County Government and as a Paramedic at Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare and Capital Regional Medical Center. David holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Public Safety Management from Florida State University and multiple associate degrees in Criminal Justice and Emergency Medical Technology.
