Drew Temple

Drew Temple is currently the Corporate Controller at Century Group. Prior to this, they were the Assistant Controller at Century Group from October 2018 to January 2020. In this role, they were responsible for group financial reporting, the financial statement audit process, coordination of tax compliance and planning, and leading teams including review and analysis and preparing complex transactions.

Drew previously worked at Beedie as a Senior Accountant from July 2017 to October 2018. In this role, they spearhead all external financial reporting on a quarterly and annual basis including consolidated and standalone financial statements prepared for banks and external investors. Drew also designed, reviewed and prepared internal financial reporting including financial statements at fair market value, group key performance indicators, cash flows, and other relevant GAAP and non-GAAP group and property specific reporting. Additionally, they led a significant project to create efficiencies in processes including creating better schedules and reconciliations and where possible, automating and documenting processes. Drew also assisted in leading corporate accounting through various team responsibilities such as cash management and auditing and reviewing of the general ledger and complex transactions. Lastly, they managed the audit process which included preparing full consolidated financial statements, reviewing and/or preparing audit schedules and requests and leading all correspondence with auditors. Drew was also the point person on creating and analyzing accounting policies, and acted as a GAAP expert to the team of 25+ individuals.

Drew Temple has a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from the University of the Fraser Valley and is a Certified Professional Accountant from CPA Canada and Chartered Professional Accountant from the Chartered Professional Accountants of British Columbia.

Drew Temple reports to Sean Hodgins, President. They work with Tanya Snow - Director, Bria Communities, Stacey Cheverie - Director, Corporate Marketing & Communications, and Craig Hewitt - Director, Construction.
