Carla Smith

Carla Smith has held various roles in the mortgage industry. From 2013 to 2017, they worked at Affiliated Mortgage Company as a Servicing Auditor, where they ensured compliance with agency guidelines and managed defect/error ratio. Since 2017, Carla has been with Century Next Bank, initially as a Mortgage Loan Processor Underwriter and currently as an Assistant Vice President in Mortgage Operations. In their current role, they process and underwrites loans, coordinates loan closings, and updates Encompass 360 for compliance with mortgage lending requirements.

Carla Smith attended the University of Louisiana Monroe in 1998, where they pursued studies in Notary/Real Estate Law. During the same year, they also earned a degree in Louisiana Notary from the same institution.
