Carlo Ciliberto

Chief AI Officer at CENTURY Tech

Carlo Ciliberto has a strong background in research and academia. Carlo is currently working as an Associate Professor at UCL, where they focus on the theory of structured prediction and multi-task & meta-learning. Carlo develops efficient algorithms to address these problems and applies them to various fields, with a particular emphasis on Computer Vision and Robotics. Prior to this, Carlo served as the Chief AI Officer at CENTURY Tech and as a Lecturer at Imperial College London. Carlo has also worked as a Staff Research Associate at UCL. Carlo's research on machine learning, transfer learning, and the development of algorithms for Computer Vision and Robotics was carried out during their time as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia.

Carlo Ciliberto obtained their education in the field of Mathematics and Robotics and Computer Vision. Carlo began their academic journey at the Università degli studi Roma TRE in 2003, where they pursued a bachelor's degree in Mathematics and graduated in 2006. Carlo continued their studies at the same institution and completed a specialist degree in Mathematics from 2006 to 2008. Later, in 2009, Carlo pursued a doctoral degree in Robotics and Computer Vision at the Università degli Studi di Genova and completed it in 2011.
