Kenneth Beck is a lifelong entrepreneur and leader who has launched and run several successful businesses and currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of CEO Connection. As co-founder and CEO, he leads the only membership organization in the world focused exclusively on CEOs who lead enterprises with between $100 million and three billion in sales (mid-market). Through proactive customized connections, extensive online services, small interactive events, and personalized individual attention, Kenny connects thousands of mid-market CEOs with each other and to people, information resources and opportunities that enhance their career, save them time, and make them money.
Kenny is also the Chairman of The Wharton Club of New York. In his role as head of the 30,000+ member New York metropolitan area group, Mr. Beck has transformed the organization into an active association committed to fostering the personal and professional growth of Wharton alumni.
Under his leadership the organization has grown from 12 volunteers running three events each year to a vibrant community with 220 volunteers who run 200 to 300 events, meetings and activities each year. As president he developed a self-sufficient infrastructure and a volunteer management process that creates member-focused services and reward programs resulting in tangible results for the membership. All of which are being adopted by organizations around the world. He continues to promote member interaction with his “Take the Call” initiative, which he created as a new way to create a culture of enlightened self-interest among Wharton alumni.
In addition, Kenny serves on numerous boards and frequently addresses business audiences as well as civic groups on a diverse array of topics including enlightened self-interest (doing good while doing well); creating organizational infrastructures, and building membership organizations.
While at Wharton, Kenny was Co-Founder and CEO of the University of Pennsylvania Student Federal Credit Union. This nationally recognized full-service financial institution that he created provides financial services to a large percentage of the Penn undergraduate student population and provides excellent hands-on business experience for Penn students. He now serves as chair of its Board of Advisors.
Mr. Beck received his MBA in Marketing and Entrepreneurial Management from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in 1987 and his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Tufts University in 1983.
